SMS Terms
The program
Program name: Jeffrey Showah text line, run by Jeffrey Showah.
Two numbers, two jobs:
- (469) 960-4129 sends texts only to people who signed up for them on the SMS opt-in page or ticked the text box on the contact form: replies about your request, and after a job, one review-request text with a link.
- (866) 834-0808 (toll-free) sends one reply to a caller whose call isn't answered, asking how we can help.
No marketing, promotions or offers. Every text is signed Jeffrey Showah.
How you opt in
- Opt-in page: at showah.co/sms-opt-in you enter your name and mobile number and tick an unchecked box agreeing to texts. Each tick is recorded with the date and time.
- Contact form: on showah.co and /bookkeeping you may enter your mobile number and tick the same kind of unchecked box. The box is optional; the form works without it.
- Missed-call reply: you call the toll-free number; the text is the reply to your call.
I never text a number that didn't call the line or agree on the opt-in page or the form, and I never buy or rent lists of numbers.
How often
Message frequency varies: usually a text or two about your request, one review request after a job, and at most one missed-call reply a day. If you reply HELP or STOP, you get one text back.
Cost
Msg & data rates may apply. I don't charge for the texts; your carrier's usual rates apply.
Help
Reply HELP for a text with how to reach me. Or email jeff@showah.co or call 682-337-3033.
Stop
Reply STOP at any time to stop texts. You'll get one text confirming it, and nothing after that. QUIT, END, CANCEL and UNSUBSCRIBE work too, and so does telling me in your own words, like "stop texting me." Reply START to opt back in.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. How I handle your number, and how long I keep it, is in the privacy policy.
