Privacy policy
This site and its text line are run by one person: me, Jeffrey Showah, a sole proprietor in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. This page covers what I collect through this site and the text line, why, how long I keep it, and who else handles it.

The short version
- I collect only what you send me, and what a text needs to reach you.
- I use it to reply to you and to send the texts you agreed to. Nothing else.
- No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. I never sell, rent or share mobile numbers, or text opt-in data and consent, for marketing. The only companies that touch your number are the providers listed below, and only to deliver the texts.
What I collect
From the contact form: your name, your email, your mobile number if you choose to add one, your business name or website if you add one, and your message. Until you press Send, the form keeps an unsent draft in your own browser so a reload doesn't lose it. It doesn't leave your device before then.
From the SMS opt-in page: your name, your mobile number, and a record of your tick agreeing to texts, with the date and time.
From the text line: your mobile number; when and how you agreed to a text (you called the line, or you ticked the text box on the opt-in page or the contact form); your first name, if you gave it for a review request; the texts sent and received, with times and delivery status; and whether you've opted out.
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, ads or tracking.
How often I text, and what it costs
Message frequency varies: usually a text or two about your request, and one review request after a job. Message and data rates may apply; I don't charge for texts, but your carrier's usual rates apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. The full program terms are in the SMS terms.
Why I use it
- Form messages: to reply to you. You're not added to a mailing list.
- Text line: to send the one text you'd expect, to honor STOP, and to keep a record of who agreed to a text and when.
- None of it is used to train AI models.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this site and the system that runs the texts, stores the text records, and screens the form for bots with Turnstile. Like any web host, it sees technical data such as your IP address so it can serve pages and block attacks.
- Twilio sends and receives the texts.
- Google runs the inbox where form messages arrive.
They handle this information only to provide their service to me. I'll also share it if the law requires me to.
How long I keep it
- Form messages: two years after we last talk, then deleted.
- Text records (your number, how you agreed, and the texts): four years after the last text, so I can show who agreed and when. Then deleted.
- Opt-outs: I keep the number and the date for as long as the line runs, so a number that said STOP is never texted again.
Your choices
- Stop texts at any time by replying STOP. The SMS terms have the details.
- See or delete what I have by emailing jeff@showah.co. I'll reply within one business day. If you ask me to delete your number, I keep only the opt-out record, so you're not texted again.
Changes
If anything here changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
